Cat Grooming

Dog Gone Great llc provides a wonderful, safe and quiet space for cats. Since your cat would be the only pet in the salon, it is natural for stress to come down. Calming pet music, aromatherapies, and soft blankets are just a few of the things we can provide for a Fear Free environment.

Each cat is given a Groomer’s Exam to identify matts, tangles, skin irritation, etc. We then can decide what is best for your cat based on coat condition , overall health and temperament.

Keep your cat clean and healthy with one of our cat grooming services. All or our luxury products are designed specifically for cats. Rest assured we only use compassionate and professional techniques.

Our Services

Full Groom

Groomer's exam and consult. a short exam upon check in and consulted with you on how to address any areas of concern. When you pick up your pet any additional issues will be discussed.

  • We use premium , luxury shampoos, fine conditioners and custom products. A variety of high end products are available dependent on your pet’s specific needs. Depending on your cat’s physical and emotional needs a wet or dry bath is done. A dry bath does not involve a full soak bath rather a shampoo spray that does not need to be rinsed out. On general, this is a more tolerable bath for cats.

  • Complete hand drying with safe, low heat.

  • Full brush and comb out removing dead coat and tangles.

  • Nail trimming to accurate length..

  • Ear cleaning with a premium , gentle cleaner

  • Pad trim-extra fur removed from bottom of paws and round out edges

  • Sanitary trim-keeping the private areas nice and tidy to avoid odors and infection

  • A massage brushing for circulation and improved coat health. This also helps calm your cat during the grooming process.

Mini Groom

some cats require minimal care such as a sanitary trim and/or a few specific matts. A mini massage brushing is included. A pedicure is included. This is approximately a 1/2 hour time slot.

Specialty Haircuts:

Lion Cut-this is a very short cut( fuzz like a tennis ball) but leaving a puff on the tail, main and fur down to the elbows on front legs and hocks on rear legs. Modifications can be made.

Short trim-this cut leaves length anywhere from approximately 1/2-1 inch.

Adjustments can be made depending on cat’s disposition and coat condition on above trims.

  • De-matting-If extra de-matting can be done in a humane way vs trimming your pet shorter there will be an additional fee for time.

  • Teeth brushing/polishing-If your pet allows, teeth brushing with pet safe toothpaste and polish for overall dental health is a great addition to your normal pet dental care at home. This is also not a replacement for a complete dental done by veterinarians. You will be notified of any visible dental issues that require veterinary care.

  • Beneficial for pets with itchy paws, odor and irratation. Helps reverse damage from environmental damage, and effectively removes bacteria, yeast and allergens
